Family Fun Day 12 July 2008
Webs Training Ltd has been delivering furniture training since 1968. Originally set up as a Training Association and founded by four major manufacturing companies:
• Wade Upholstery
• Everest Furniture
• Beauvale Furnishings
• Gimson and Slater
Our main role as a leading Training Provider is to offer government sponsored City & Guilds approved Apprenticeships for the Furniture Industry. Providing the industry with highly trained crafts persons, by tailoring quality individualised training programmes for learners.
This year to celebrate Webs Training 40th Anniversary we will be hosting a family “Fun Day”, to celebrate and raise monies for local charities including The Nottingham Oncology Unit at Nottingham City Hospital.
The event will take place at Beeston Hockey Club, Highfields Sports Centre, University Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 2PS from 1:00pm until late. Admission is free with a variety of activities taking place throughout the day and night.
The activities will include, a 5 aside football competition, Cricket competition, Hockey and Football shot outs. One of the main attractions is the Pram Race, which sees teams of 3 competing to make the best pram, the competition already is immense.
Without forgetting the little ones there will be games and activities including a bouncy castle.
For the less energetic the bar will be open all day serving drinks including real ales, from a local micro brewery and mouth watering food, to tickle your taste buds!
Into the evening there will be a delicious BBQ, with a hog roast and entertainment from Jason an excellent popular solo artist – Not to be missed by anyones ears!

This fundraising event is sure to be a fabulous day and we would like to see as many people as possible here celebrating 40 years and raising money for what I’m sure you’ll agree are excellent causes.
